About Us

YABUTA was established in 1963 to manufacture and supply the “YABUTA automatic moromi filter” developed in our affiliate Daiwa Sake Brewing Company. In our history expanding over half a century, we have worked to develop systems that constantly improve quality through highly efficiency production and energy saving, and that contribute to an increase in customer’s profits. Through these endeavors, we can supply products that have been favorably received by the foodstuff industry and pharmaceutical industry in Japan and overseas, as well as in a variety of production fields such as chemical products and electronic materials. Each of us at YABUTA will continue to sincerely address our customer’s requests and will look for solutions to various challenges with our creativity and originality. We hope to pursue ‘What is truly valuable for our customers’, and work to respond to our customer’s trust and expectations.

1963 Noboru Yabuta who was an executive director of Daiwa Sake Brewing Co., Ltd. Originally developed a Japanese Sake Automatic Filter Press.
Yabuta Industries Co., Ltd. was founded in Abeno-Ku, Osaka.
1966 Headquarters was relocated to the following address:
365 Okubo, Okubo-Cho, Akashi-City, Hyogo Prefecture.
1969 Yabuta-Kikai Co., Ltd. was founded as sales representative company for food and general industries in Nishi-Ku, Osaka.
1971 Headquarters was moved to the following address:
640 Nishijima, Okubo-Cho, Akashi City, Hyogo Prefecture.
The first Food Industry Technological Service Award has been conferred on Yabuta Japanese Sake Automatic Filter Press from “SYOKUHIN SANGYO SHINBUN”
1973 10th anniversary of foundation.
A special manufacturing line has been installed in the Chofu Plant of Kobe Steel, Ltd.
1974 Industry Services Award has been conferred on Noboru Yabuta, the C.E.O. president of Yabuta Industries Co., from Akashi City.
1975 Noboru Yabuta, the C.E.O. president of Yabuta Industries Co., Ltd., received an excellent taxpayer award from Hyogo prefectural governor.
1983 20th anniversary of foundation.
Tokyo sales office of Yabuta Kikai Co., Ltd. was opened.
Yabuta Shouji Co., Ltd. was founded as a sales representative company for Japanese Sake industries at the following address: 4-10-22, Fukae Minami-Machi, Higashinada-Ku, Kobe City, Hyogo Prefecture.
Youichi Kinoshita took office as the C.E.O. president of Yabuta Shouji Co. Ltd.
Saburo Tomonaga took office as the C.E.O. president of Yabuta Industries Co., Ltd.
Noboru Yabuta, the C.E.O. president of Yabuta Industries Co., received an award from the machine information industry bureau director of Ministry of International Trade and Industry.
1985 Futami factory was established at the following address:

1992 Okubo factory was established.

1997 Cable television station building of the Jupiter Takarazuka Kawanishi was built in Takarazuka.

2003 40th anniversary of foundation.
Kasaoka factory was established in Kasaoka City, Okayama Prefecture.
2004 Yabuta Kikai Co., Ltd. moved into a business building owned by Yabuta Industries Co., Ltd. in the following address:

Masaru Hamada took office as the C.E.O. president of Yabuta Kikai Co., Ltd.
2005 Yabuta Industries Co., Ltd. (Headquarters and Futami Factory) is certificated to conform to the Quality Management System Standard: ISO9001:2000.
2007 Yabuta Shouji took a business partnership with Horiken Co., Ltd.
2013 50th anniversary of foundation.

2017 Okuma five-face processing machine is introduced to Kasaoka factory.
Resin molding facilities and Aluminum welding robot are replaced.
2018 Laser Cutting machine for filter processing is introduced to head office factory.
2021 Nobuyasu Yabuta took office as the C.E.O. president of Yabuta Kikai Co., Ltd.
2023 60th anniversary of foundation.
Goh Imoto took office as the C.E.O. president of Yabuta Shouji Co., Ltd.
New field office of Kasaoka factory opens.
